West Indies cruised to an innings and 65-run victory over Zimbabwe to clinch the second and final Test inside three days at Windsor Park yesterday.
After declaring at their overnight position of 381 for eight, and with a first innings lead of 206, the hosts bowled out Zimbabwe for 175 to claim the series 2-0.
The hosts reduced the visitors to 77 for four at lunch, still 129 runs away from avoiding an innings defeat. Craig Ervine and Malcolm Waller continued Zimbabwe’s struggle on resumption but didn’t last long. Ervine managed just eight while Waller departed for 20. Zimbabwe lost their last six wickets for just 64 runs.u00a0
