DR Rudi Webster, the West Indian sports psychologist, who was part of the Kolkata Knight Riders' support staff, has been admitted to a hospital in Bangalore where he travelled to after his KKR assignment.

Sources say Dr Webster is suffering from a gall bladder-related illness and will be operated upon in a few days. He is in Bangalore to deliver lectures on the mental side of the game to National Cricket Academy trainees. Dr Webster worked with several high profile sportspersons including Sir Viv Richards and Brian Lara.
