Theo Walcott assures his international goal drought will end soon as he heads into England's Euro Qualifier clash against Wales

The 22-year-old Arsenal man has not scored for Fabio Capello's side since a stunning hat-trick in a World Cup qualifier in Croatia on September 10, 2008.

However, he was part of a team that prevailed 3-0 against Bulgaria on Friday night to move a step closer to next summer's Euro finals in Poland and Ukraine and is not focusing too much on his own barren spell. "I'm scoring goals for my club," he said in a press conference televised by Sky Sports News.
"Hopefully, I can take that to international level. It will come. A lot of players don't score for their countries.
"Being only 22, people think I've been around for a long time. I'm not putting too much pressure on myself because, apart from the goals, everything else is going well."
Wayne Rooney scored two of England's goals in Sofia and Walcott was full of praise for the in-form Manchester United striker.
"Just having him on the pitch seems to get an extra percentage out of all the other players," he said.
"He creates so much space for others players. The goals he's scoring -- with his head now as well -- it's great to see."
Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard was a surprise omission from Capello's starting line-up -- the first time he has not started a competitive international he has been available for since the away Euro 2008 qualifier with Russia.
But Walcott believes the 33-year-old still has a role to play. "Frank is an experienced, great player," he said.
"Everyone's spot is up for grabs. There's so much competition, with everyone playing every week for Premier League teams.
"You need to be on your toes and if you're playing well the manager will pick you."
