Former India opener Virender Sehwag is 'Twitter baba' for the pearls of wisdom he shares on the micro blogging site. He's also alternatively been dubbed the 'Nawab of Twitter' and 'King of Twitter' for his witty one-liners and birthday wishes.

The 38-year-old, who is known for his deft ability to troll celebrities, took to Twitter on Monday to celebrate his trailblazing batting and amazing partnership with 'opening partner' Rahul Dravid way back in 2006.

On this day, 11 years ago Sehwag and Dravid had opened the innings for India against Pakistan and milked their much-vaunted bowling attack for 410 runs in Lahore.

The rain-interrupted first Test at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium during India's 2006 tour of Pakistan saw the hosts pile up 679/7 declared in the first innings thanks to centuries from Younis Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, Shahid Afridi and Kamran Akmal.

Sehwag and captain Rahul Dravid opened the innings for India. The duo stitched together a partnership for the first wicket that came agonisingly close to breaking legendary Indian openers Vinoo Mankad and Pankaj Roy's world record opening wicket partnership of 413. In the process, Sehwag recorded the then second-fastest double century in Test history as he reached the 200-run landmark off 182 balls. Dravid remained unbeaten on 128 as the match ended in a draw.

VIRU STRIKES AGAIN

Well, Sehwag took to Twitter on Monday to remind Pakistan of his innings in his indomitable way. He dubbed the day 'PakistanKoBhootBanaya' Diwas (literally translates to 'Made a ghost of Pakistan'). After all, it's not every day that you score 254 runs off just 247 balls -- the innings included 47 fours and one six.

Pakistan spinner Saqlain Mushtaq and pacer Shoaib Akhtar have earlier been the target of Viru's banter.
