It has been reported in the media that the ruling BCCI group suspects two former BCCI presidents — Shashank Manohar and Inderjit Singh Bindra (Punjab Cricket Association) — who no longer hold posts in their respective state associations, of tarnishing board's image and also helping Aditya Verma to take legal action against N Srinivasan. Reportedly, the BCCI is also considering curtailing annual grants to Vidarbha and Punjab.

'We won't beg'
Speaking from Nagpur, Manohar said: "If they want to stop helping us, we have no issue. We have enough money and are self sufficient to run our association. Our association will not run after them and beg. It (stopping financial aid) will not make any difference to us.

The game in our region won't be affected. "We have the two best stadiums and best-run cricket academy. We have enough money to sustain the running of our best facilities. Let the people judge who has been tarnishing its image. People know who is N Srinivasan and they also know who is Shashank Manohar."

The former BCCI chief reiterated his earlier stand and said all IPL matches need to be probed. The Supreme Court is set to continue its hearing on the IPL probe on Monday.
