>> Chasing 274 for victory, Sachin Tendulkar faced Shoaib Akhtar in the second over of the innings. Shoaib bowled the fourth ball short and slightly outside the off-stump. Judging it perfectly, Tendulkar cut it over backward point for six. The next two balls received a more traditional bashing as Tendulkar smashed the next two balls to the ropes in a more orthodox way.
