>> Chasing 274 for victory, Sachin Tendulkar faced Shoaib Akhtar in the second over of the innings. Shoaib bowled the fourth ball short and slightly outside the off-stump. Judging it perfectly, Tendulkar cut it over backward point for six. The next two balls received a more traditional bashing as Tendulkar smashed the next two balls to the ropes in a more orthodox way.

>> Struggling with cramp, Tendulkar went on to score 98 off 75 balls. Twenty two of those came in 12 balls from Akhtar and 27 came in 13 balls from Waqar Younis.
