The prolific hitman has been heavily linked to Spanish sides Real Madrid and Barcelona, as well as the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea in England, as financially-stricken Valencia look ready to cash on on their prized asset.

Though Villa did not go into detail about which club he would like to join, or whether he wanted to stay with Los Che, he did confirm he had made his choice.

"My representative already knows this decision, and he is working on it. I'm relaxed." said Villa after scoring the only goal in Spain's 1-0 win in a Confederations Cup match over Iraq in South Africa. The European champions entered the semi-finals where they are likely to meet Brazil or Italy.

With the hard fought victory Spain, who have not been beaten since November 2006, matched the record of 14 straight victories held by Australia, Brazil and France. They also moved to within one win of equalling the 35-match unbeaten run by Brazil between (1993-1996).

In the day's other match,u00a0 Bernard Parker scored both goals as South Africa beat New Zealand 2-0.
