Virender Sehwag, who missed yesterday's Indian Premier League opener for Delhi Daredevils due to a back spasm, has been advised to skip their next match too - against Rajasthan Royals on April 6
The dashing opener has been visiting a physiotherapist regularly in order to recover as soon as possible.u00a0

Clearing suspicion
Attempting to clearing all suspicion over his IPL participation, Sehwag said that he informed Delhi’s team mentor TA Sekar about his injury well in advance. “I have never hidden my injury. I couldn’t inform Mahela (Jayawardene) as I didn’t have his India mobile number, but I had informed TA Sekar about it,” he clarified.
Sehwag also dismissed reports over him being unhappy with the Delhi Daredevils’ captaincy snub. “I informed my franchise that I will be playing only as a batsman,” he emphasised.u00a0
