Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar understands the problems and pain that some Mumbaikars have to overcome and face in their daily life. One such set of Mumbaikars are the Mumbai Police, who have to brave every kind of weather to do their job.
Tendulkar, who enjoys a huge following on social media, expressed his admiration for the Mumbai traffic police in a post on social media and it went viral. Expressing his gratitude for the cops who brave harsh weather conditions to ensure the safety of Mumbaikars, Sachin posted a video on Facebook and Twitter.
"Come rain or shine, #MumbaiPolice is truly dedicated to our safety & well being as seen here (even in the heavy rains!) I salute them all," the Rajya Sabha MP wrote in his post.

The video has a montage of various traffic police officers braving the heavy downpour to keep the traffic flowing on streets of Mumbai. The video also focuses on a Mumbai police signboard that says: "Your Safety - Our Commitment."
It's been viewed 8 lakh times, shared over a thousand times and got over 50 thousand reactions on Facebook. On Twitter, it has received over 2,000 retweets and 9,000 'likes'.

Mumbai Police, in turn, thanked Sachin and said that they were steadfast in their commitment to serve the city, no matter what.
