Cheteshwar Pujara is keen to shed the 'Test-specialist' tag, but in the process the Saurshtra batsman will not be desperate when he gets a chance to showcase his skills in limited-overs cricket.

India are set to play a short three-match ODI series against Bangaldesh as soon as the IPL-7 gets over on June 1. And Pujara, who has been waiting in the wings to get an ODI call for quite some time, is hoping to get a game finally. In his bid to make it to the playing XI, he also started practicing leg-spin recently.
"I am hoping to play an ODI finally. But I am not thinking to prove a point to anyone. If I am good in limited overs games then I will get a chance automatically. I just want to make full use of the Bangladesh series and do well for my team," Pujara said.
The Indian selectors on Wednesday decided to rest as many as seven players for the series in which Suresh Raina will lead India.
Pujara feels the T20 experience in IPL will help him during the ODIs. "It is always good to play T20s before going into ODIs. I think it should help me," he said.
