No hard feelings against Gavaskar, Yuvi or Bhajji: Buchanan

FORMER Australia and Kolkata Knight Riders coach John Buchanan today denied that he has criticised some current Team India players as well as former player Sunil Gavaskar, in his newly released book The Future of Cricket: The Rise of Twenty20.

Buchanan told the channel TIMES NOW that the comments were taken out of context by the media and that people would have to read the entire book to understand their meaning.

The former KKR director of cricket said that he has no hard feelings towards Gavaskar, Yuvraj or Harbhajan Singh.

Here's what Buchanan has reportedly said about Gavaskar, Harbhajan and Yuvraj in his just released book:

'Gavaskar is blinkered by bias and tradition, (Harbhajan) Singh camouflages action, Yuvraj (Singh) tries to be modern-day Ganguly'

Buchanan's dig at Gavaskar comes after the IPL administrators referred the concept of having more foreign players in the playing eleven. The Australian says that any ideas that may affect the fast paced T20 game will be have to be referred to a committee headed by Gavaskar - who is 'blinkered by bias and tradition'.
