The Scot, who on Monday officially started his job as manager of Manchester United following Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement, is due to lead the Red Devils for the first time on July 13 against a Singha All Star XI in Bangkok, The Sun has reported.

However, the report added, Moyes may face some ridicule from the crowd when he is introduced to local fans, as his names sounds similar to 'Moi'- a slang for pubic hair in Thailand.

Admitting that both the words sound similar, a source said that however, they are spelt differently, and joked that as 'Moi' is a funny and dirty slang for pubic hair, no fans would be chanting Moyes' name when he arrives.

Moyes, who was gifted with an United mousemat as a welcome present, has brought in an entirely new coaching team, all from his former club Everton, following Ferguson's departure after 27 years in charge.u00a0
