Monty Panesar to participate on reality show 'Dancing on Ice'

England cricketer Monty Panesar, 35, has confirmed his participation for the new series of Dancing On Ice. He becomes the seventh celebrity to sign up for the reality show. Panesar told BBC Radio Five Live that he is motivated to try something different.

"This is a great opportunity to keep myself fit and motivated and try a different sport. I'm looking forward to it, it's going to be very exciting," said Panesar. Panesar, who had turned down lucrative offers from The Jump and I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, will be competing against the likes of X Factor contestant Jake Quickenden, rugby player Max Evans, actor Brooke Vincent, singer Cheryl Baker and Love Island's Kem Cetinay and Candice Brown.
