Paes and Lukas Dlouhy, seeded third, could not tame top seeds Mike and Bob Bryan, losing 7-6 (3) 3-6, 12-14 in the semi-final. Fourth seeds Bhupathi and partner Mark Knowles went down against the Serbian duo of Novak Djokovic and Viktor Troicki 4-6, 6-4 10-12 in the quarter-finals.
