Rains apart, it is certain that India will be up against the English on a green, bouncy track, compounding the problems of the already beleaguered outfit which was beaten comprehensively in the third Test at Southampton.

Paceman James Anderson will be charged up for his 98th Test and their fastest bowler Liam Plunkett has also been declared fit for the game.

On the other hand, India are struggling with injures to Ishant Sharma, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. While the former is certain to miss the game, the team is keeping its fingers crossed on Bhuvi's recovery.

Gloomy picture
The mood in the Indian camp is gloomy at the moment especially after the verdict that absolved Anderson of any wrong-doing in the Nottingham Test where the visitors accused him of needlessly entering into an altercation with Ravindra Jadeja.

Dr Baba, the media manager told sunday mid-day: "We cannot do anything on our own and are waiting for our Board (BCCI) to do what they deem fit."
