Archana reacts to Virat's viral photo: Poor guy was just trying to cheat

Virat Kohli's picture of apparently 'ogling' at IPL 2017 TV presenter Archana Vijaya's ripped denims went viral about a week ago during the ongoing Indian Premier League 10 season.

Archana Vijaya went on to slam all media reports that twisted and turned the entire scenario which was actually friendly and innocent.

While speaking with India Today, a furious Archana Vijaya said, 'My first thought was: Oh my God, are people trying that hard to make headlines? Are people so starved to bring people down?'

'Virat has had such a remarkable growth as a cricketer. We all admire his amazing discipline. He has such clarity of thought and look at what people did.'

After Virat Kohli's photo went viral, certain sensible posts clarified, that the RCB captain was actually looking at the tablet placed on Archana's lap.

Archana Vijaya clarified that she and Virat Kohli were playing a rapid fire round and all Kohli was doing was trying to cheat by looking at the cue card on the tab.

Archana also stated that the equation she shares with Virat has not changed as they share a great rapport. Archana was present during Virat Kohli's debut.

'When he saw me, he asked, 'Dude, where were you last year? Welcome back!' That's the sort of ease we have,' said Archana Vijaya.
