India captain Virat Kohli was seen batting against Rajasthan left-arm pacer Aniket Choudhary during a net session yesterday.
Choudhary, who claimed four Bangladesh wickets for India 'A' in the warm-up game at the Gymkhana ground here two days ago, also bowled to some of the other India batsmen. One wondered what was the logic behind practising against a left-arm pacer since Bangladesh don't have one in their ranks.
However, PTI reported: "Aniket can bring in more quality as a net bowler and can create those typical awkward left-armer's angles to right-handed batsmen, something Australia's Mitchell Starc is capable of doing at a much better level."
