India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first today afternoon in the second limited-overs international against Sri Lanka at the R Premadasa Stadium.

India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first today afternoon in the second limited-overs international against Sri Lanka at the R Premadasa Stadium.



Sri Lanka made no change from the team that lost to India in the series opener on Wednesday.



Hard-hitting opener Virender Sehwag returns to boost his side after missing the first game because of a sore back, while seam bowler Munaf Patel was ruled out by injury and replaced by Praveen Kumar.



Sri Lanka offspinner Muttiah Muralitharan requires two more wickets to overtake Wasim Akram as cricket's highest limited-overs wicket taker. The 36-year-old is already the highest wicket taker in Test cricket.
