Vice captain Michael Clarke and pacer Nathan Bracken today returned from injury to join the Australian squad for their last one dayers against South Africa in Perth on Friday.

Spinner Nathan Hauritz and pacer Ryan Harris have been omitted from the squad which played South Africa last night in Adelaide, the National Selection Panel (NSP) said. Trailing the five-match series 1-3, Australia would play the last ODI to salvage some pride.

"While it is unfortunate that Nathan Hauritz has been omitted after limited opportunities, it is unlikely that we would play a specialist spinner in Perth and therefore it has been decided he will return to New South Wales where he will be available for selection for the Weet-Bix Sheffield Shield match in Newcastle," NSP Chairman Andrew Hilditch said.

"Nathan Bracken has recovered from the calf injury which ruled him out of last night's clash and therefore returns while Ryan Harris has been omitted from the squad which has been selected for the two games in Perth," he added.

The 13-man squad: Ricky Ponting (c), Michael Clarke (vc), Nathan Bracken, Brad Haddin, Ben Hilfenhaus, James Hopes, David Hussey, Michael Hussey, Mitchell Johnson, Shaun Marsh, Shaun Tait, David Warner, Cameron White.
