Australia are awaiting a fitness update on Shane Watson after the allrounder suffered a hamstring injury just weeks before the start of the Ashes series.
The 32-year-old was playing the final one-day international against India on Saturday when he aborted his run-up for the opening delivery of his sixth over before immediately leaving the field.

Watson then failed to appear in his allotted number three slot as Australia’s reply began in Bangalore, raising further fears over the injury.
Limited-overs captain George Bailey said, “I’m not sure. He’s obviously sore, we saw that.”
