SOL Price Prediction: Solana Hits $159, EV2 Presale

SOL Price Prediction: Solana Hits $159, EV2 Presale – Will Crypto Prices Surge Once More? The crypto market was extremely dynamic throughout the month of October, with major price swings creating profit-making opportunities for savvy traders smart enough to time their entry. Here we examine SOL’s price prospects together with those of the EV2 presale and look at latest Fed decisions that will feed through into the crypto market this month. What to Expect From Crypto in November Solana traded between $230 and $170 in Uptober, a month which teased endlessly but ultimately failed to live up to expectations. While the charts moved up and down, with candles both green and red, its strong fundamentals suggest Solana will eventually rise again to end 2025 on a high. The price of Solana (SOL) hit $159 on November 4 , its lowest since August 3. Other Layer-1s including Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), performed similarly, hitting $104,500 and $3,500 respectively. Deeper analysis shows the current dip may be short-lived. Solana’s Star Shines Brightly With SOL reaching price levels not seen in over a month, an examination of the Layer-1’s fundamentals is now key. At the end of October, crypto investment firms Grayscale and Bitwise launched their Solana Spot ETFs, with hundreds of millions of cash inflows. Bitwise alone accounted for  $417 million  in institutional investment in its first week. This has created a dichotomy within the Solana ecosystem, as paper retail hands sell off and Wall Street gratefully accumulates the underpriced SOL . With smart money pouring in, the upswing when it comes should be rapid. Traders should look for key resistance levels of $131 on the lower end and $200 on the high. Solana may still dip slightly from here, but currently looks oversold in the short to medium term. On the bull side, any price above $250 is probably optimistic, but a push to $300 isn’t impossible in the longer term. EV2 Presale Goes Live With the majors dipping at the start of November, capital is rotating in search of rapid gains. One of the strongest contenders with significant upside potential is the Web3 space-combat game EV2 which is currently in presale. Crypto traders aren’t known for their patience which is why EV2, with its track record of success and detailed roadmap, looks quite compelling. EV2 is developed under the highly regarded Funtico ecosystem, which aims to bring the kind of AAA polish infrequently demonstrated across the wider Web3 space. The upcoming presale is currently underway, intriguingly branded as an ‘early-access journey’ rather than a purely speculative purchase. EV2 is built on the Ethereum blockchain but simplifies any complexities beneath an easy to use dashboard to hook non-crypto users during the launch phase. According to the firm, this strategy is ‘the best of both worlds,’ allowing users to interact using familiar Web2 interfaces while simultaneously onboarding them into the welcoming world of Web3. Investors can purchase EV2 with ETH, BTC, BNB, SUPER, USDT, SOL or even with credit card. EV2’s 2026 roadmap promises major media partnerships and influencer campaigns in Q1 with game release as early as Q2.With all the ingredients for success, EV2 could prove to be a solid barometer for the wider market, making this presale one to watch. All Eyes On The Fed The Fed’s quarter percent interest rate cut on October 29 was not the boon for markets crypto traders hoped for. Instead, Fed Chain Jerome Powell poured cold water over the market by suggesting it may be the last cut of the year. Until recently market analysts predicted another cut in December . Powell’s comments reduced confidence in further cuts. There are competing views at the US Central Bank however, and interest rates could still drop. Traders should look to statements from key figures including Fed Governor Stephen Miran, a key figure close to the Trump administration, who continues to argue vociferously for further reductions  in interest rates. Should Miran get his way, and he has serious political backing, it could provide some impetus for the market, pushing bearish traders toward more bullish sentiment.

Pakistan approves Army Chief Asim Munir’s elevation as Chief of Defence Forces

Pakistan’s Parliament has passed a major constitutional amendment granting lifelong legal immunity to army chief Asim Munir, expanding his powers, and curbing those of the Supreme Court — a move the opposition described as a “death blow to democracy”, news agency ANI reported. The National Assembly approved the 27th Constitutional Amendment Bill with more than a two-thirds majority on Wednesday, with 234 lawmakers voting in favour and only four against, according to Dawn. The 59-clause bill had been cleared by the Senate earlier this week with 64 votes in favour and none opposed, as opposition members boycotted the proceedings. The bill will now return to the Senate for reconsideration of minor changes before being sent to President Asif Ali Zardari for assent, ANI reported. Under the new amendment, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) will also hold the title of Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), making the office the formal head of Pakistan’s army, navy, and air force. The legislation also preserves honorary military titles — including Field Marshal, Marshal of the Air Force, and Admiral of the Fleet — as lifetime ranks. The change effectively elevates General Asim Munir to the most powerful position in Pakistan’s defence hierarchy, giving him broader constitutional authority and recognition than any of his predecessors, ANI reported. The amendment also establishes a new Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) to handle constitutional matters, effectively reducing the powers of the Supreme Court, which has previously struck down government decisions and disqualified sitting prime ministers. Judges of the FCC will be appointed by the government, and the court will operate separately from the Supreme Court. According to Dawn, while the current Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) will retain his title, future appointments will define the CJP as the senior-most judge among the chiefs of the Supreme Court and the FCC. The FCC will also be barred from ratifying acts of high treason — a clause critics say shields state institutions, including the military, from scrutiny. Members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), founded by jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan, staged a walkout before the vote, tearing up copies of the bill. PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan accused the government of “sinking the ship of democracy and judicial independence.” “They introduced another amendment that we’re only seeing for the first time. In Article 260, there are definitions for everything... but they added a new subclause without due debate,” he said. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif defended the bill’s passage, calling it a demonstration of “solidarity and national unity.” (With inputs from ANI)

Bangladesh ICT to deliver verdict against Sheikh Hasina on Nov 17

The International Crime Tribunal (ICT) of Bangladesh on Thursday announced that it will deliver its verdict on November 17 in the case against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who faces charges of crimes against humanity, including murder, related to the July uprising last year. The verdict by the ICT comes amid a nationwide lockdown called by Hasina's Bangladesh Awami League, disrupting normal life across the country, including in the capital, Dhaka. Security forces, including the army and police, have been deployed at airports and key installations nationwide following the announcement of a nationwide dawn-to-dusk lockdown by the political party today. Since the interim government, led by Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus as Chief Adviser, has banned the activities of the Awami League and its affiliated organisations, party leaders have been announcing the programme through social media from undisclosed locations. Over the past two days, there have been reports of vehicle arson and crude bomb (cocktail) explosions in various parts of Bangladesh, including Dhaka. Awami League supporters have also held flash rallies across the nation. Meanwhile, police have launched operations nationwide to arrest party leaders and activists, while security forces have set up checkpoints and vehicle searches on major roads. In July 2024, a student-led uprising toppled Sheikh Hasina's government in Bangladesh. On August 5, 2024, the former Prime Minister fled to India, and an interim government was subsequently formed under the leadership of Muhammad Yunus as Chief Adviser. According to a United Nations report, around 1,400 people may have died during the July protests. Sheikh Hasina's administration originally established the International Crimes Tribunal to prosecute crimes against humanity committed during Bangladesh's 1971 Liberation War against Pakistan. The tribunal previously tried several Jamaat-e-Islami leaders accused of war crimes during Hasina's tenure. The current interim government has initiated legal proceedings against Sheikh Hasina in the same tribunal, following amendments to its legal framework. Testimonies in the case have been completed, and the tribunal is set to announce the verdict against the former Prime Minister on November 17.

Trump urges Israel to pardon Netanyahu, sparking concerns over US influence

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday sent a letter to Israel's president asking him to pardon Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a long-running corruption trial that has bitterly divided the country. It was the latest attempt by Trump to intervene in the case on behalf of Netanyahu, raising questions about undue American influence over internal Israeli affairs. Trump also called for a pardon for Netanyahu during a speech to Israel's parliament last month, when he made a brief visit to promote his ceasefire plan for the war in Gaza. In Wednesday's letter to President Isaac Herzog, Trump called the corruption case 'political, unjustified prosecution.' 'As the Great State of Israel and the amazing Jewish People move past the terribly difficult times of the last three years, I hereby call on you to fully pardon Benjamin Netanyahu, who has been a formidable and decisive War Time Prime Minister, and is now leading Israel into a time of peace,' Trump wrote. Netanyahu is the only sitting prime minister in Israeli history to stand trial, after being charged with fraud, breach of trust and accepting bribes in three separate cases accusing him of exchanging favors with wealthy political supporters. Netanyahu rejects the allegations, and in Trump-like language has condemned the case as a witch hunt orchestrated by the media, police and judiciary. In a post on X late Thursday, Netanyahu expressed gratitude toward Trump, though it wasn't explicitly tied to the pardon request. 'Thank you, President Trump, for your incredible support. As usual, you get right to the point and call it like it is,' he wrote. 'I look forward to continuing our partnership to bolster security and expand peace.' Netanyahu has taken the stand multiple times over the past year, but the case has been repeatedly delayed as he has dealt with wars and unrest stemming from Hamas-led militant attacks of October 2023. Israel's presidency is a largely ceremonial office, but the president does have the authority to grant pardons. Herzog acknowledged receiving the letter, but said that anyone seeking a presidential pardon must submit a formal request. Herzog has declined to say how he would respond to a request by Netanyahu, saying publicly only that he believes the trial has been a distraction and source of division for the country and that he would prefer to see Netanyahu and the prosecution reach a settlement. When Trump called for a pardon in his speech last month, he received a raucous standing ovation from Netanyahu's allies in parliament. But it has also raised questions about American influence over Israeli policies, especially relating to security in the Gaza Strip. Those concerns came to a head during a series of visits from senior American leaders, from Vice President JD Vance to Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Israeli media called the visits 'Bibi-sitting,' a word play on Netanyahu's nickname, saying the officials were coming to ensure that Israel continues to hold up its side of the fragile ceasefire. Both Netanyahu and Vance rejected the suggestions and say the countries have a tight partnership. Opposition Yair Lapid noted that the pardon could have unintended consequences for Netanyahu. 'Reminder: Israeli law stipulates that the first condition for receiving a pardon is an admission of guilt and an expression of remorse for those actions,' he wrote on X. According to Israeli law, a presidential pardon can only happen for Netanyahu if Netanyahu makes a formal request, which sets in motion a long procedure that includes recommendations from the Justice Ministry, said Amir Fuchs, a senior researcher at the Jerusalem-based think tank Israel Democracy Institute and an expert in constitutional law. Fuchs added that pardons are usually issued for people who are convicted of a crime. 'Pardon is a word for forgiveness, a pardon without some kind of admission of guilt is very unusual and even illegal,' said Fuchs. He also said that if a pardon were granted after the Trump letter, it risked giving a 'green light' to corruption. 'The message will be undermining of rule of law,' he said. In June, Trump also condemned Netanyahu's trial as a 'WITCH HUNT,' using the same language that both he and Netanyahu have long used to describe their legal woes. Both contend they are the victims of hostile media, crooked law enforcement and political opponents. This story has been sourced from a third party syndicated feed, agencies. NIA conducts searches across 5 states in Al Qaida Gujarat terror conspiracy case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has conducted searches at 10 locations across five states in an Al Qaida Gujarat terror conspiracy case allegedly involving illegal Bangladeshi immigrants, officials said on Thursday. NIA teams conducted searches at premises on Wednesday linked with various suspects and their associates in West Bengal, Tripura, Meghalaya, Haryana and Gujarat, an agency spokesperson said in a statement. The official said several digital devices and documents were seized that have been sent for forensic analysis. The case was registered in 2023 and centres around four Bangladeshi nationals -- Mohd. Sojibmiyan, Munna Khalid Ansari, Azarul Islam, and Abdul Latif -- had illegally infiltrated into India from Bangladesh using forged Indian identity documents, the NIA alleged. "They were found to be connected with the proscribed Al-Qaida terrorist organisation. The men were involved in collection and transfer of funds to Al Qaida operatives in Bangladesh, and were also found to be actively motivating Muslim youth," the statement said. The NIA had filed a charge sheet on November 10, 2023 in a Ahmedabad Special Court. This story has been sourced from a third party syndicated feed, agencies. Congress approves bill to end 43-day US government shutdown

The United States Congress on Wednesday (local time) approved the federal funding package to reopen the government after a record 43-day shutdown, sending the bill to President Donald Trump for his signature. The President will be signing the funding bill on camera from the Oval Office, as per the White House. According to CNN, the measure ends the longest-ever government shutdown in US history, following weeks of bitter political deadlock over an Obamacare-related programme opposed by Republicans. After the bill was passed by the US Senate earlier this week, the US House of Representatives passed the funding bill by a vote of 222 to 209, with nearly all Republicans and a handful of Democrats voting in favour. The legislation ensures that government operations resume immediately and sets up a new funding deadline of January 30, although several key programmes--including SNAP, WIC, and veterans' services--will remain funded through the end of fiscal year 2026, as reported by CNN. Six Democrats have crossed party lines to back the bill, including Representatives Jared Golden, Adam Gray, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, Henry Cuellar, Tom Suozzi, and Don Davis. Meanwhile, Republican Representatives Thomas Massie and Greg Steube voted against it. While the bill averts further disruption to essential services, most Democrats expressed frustration over its failure to secure an extension of expiring enhanced health care subsidies that help Americans pay for insurance premiums, as reported by CNN. US House Speaker Mike Johnson managed to unite most Republicans behind the measure, despite internal backlash over a controversial Senate provision that allows senators to sue the US Department of Justice for obtaining their phone records during a Biden-era investigation -- potentially yielding payouts exceeding USD 500,000 or more per violation, CNN reported. "I was shocked by it; I was angry about it," Speaker Johnson said, as quoted by CNN, adding that he was unaware of the language until after the Senate passed the bill. Johnson vowed to revisit and remove the provision in a future House vote. With the government reopening, lawmakers now face a packed legislative calendar before year-end, including decisions on expiring Obamacare subsidies, the farm bill, and energy credits, as per CNN. "Clearly a terrorist attack": US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Delhi Blast

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Wednesday (local time) called the blast which took place in Delhi on Monday evening to 'clearly' be a 'terrorist attack'. He praised the country's professionalism in handling the investigation. Rubio made the remarks while responding to a media query on India declaring the blast in Delhi on Monday as a "terror incident". "The Indians need to be commended. They've been very measured, cautious and very professional on how they're carrying out this investigation. That investigation continues. It clearly was a terrorist attack. It was a car loaded with highly explosive materials that detonated and killed a lot of people." He added, "I think they are doing a very good job of carrying out an investigation and I think when they'll have facts, they'll release those facts." The US Secretary of State shared that he spoke with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar about the blast. Rubio stated that while the US offered to help, India is "very capable" of handling the investigation and doesn't need help. "We are aware of the potential it has and we spoke a little about it today- the potential it has to become something broader. We are going to await to see what the investigation reveals. We have offered to help but I think they are very capable on these investigations. They don't need our help and they are doing a good job", he said. EAM Jaishankar and Secretary Rubio met on the sidelines of the G7 Foreign Ministers' Meet in Niagara, Canada. During their discussion, Rubio expressed condolences for the lives lost in the recent Delhi blast. The meeting also covered bilateral ties along with global developments. Following the blast near the iconic Red Fort, a link to a "white-collar terror network" has surfaced in the preliminary investigation, with the probe agencies finding links of the terror incident with Pakistan-based outfits Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGH). The network, which allegedly involved doctors and clerics, was dismantled following a series of coordinated operations between October 19 and November 10, 2025, resulting in the recovery of 2,921 kilograms of explosives and many arrests. On Wednesday, the Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressed its profound grief over the loss of lives in the terrorist incident involving a car explosion near the Red Fort in Delhi on Monday evening. The Cabinet directed that the investigation into the terror incident be pursued with the utmost urgency and professionalism so that the perpetrators and their collaborators and brought to justice. The resolution said that the country has witnessed a heinous terror incident, perpetrated by anti-national forces, through a car explosion near the Red Fort on the evening of November 10. The explosion resulted in multiple fatalities and caused injuries to several others. "The Cabinet directs that the investigation into the incident be pursued with the utmost urgency and professionalism so that the perpetrators, their collaborators, and their sponsors are identified and brought to justice without delay," it added. The National Investigation Agency is carrying out investigations into the Delhi blast case. This story has been sourced from a third party syndicated feed, agencies. Oldest crocodilian eggshells in Australia discovered at famed Murgon fossil site

In southeast Queensland, roughly 250 km from Brisbane, lies the tiny town of Murgon. Located on Wakka Wakka Country, it is home to about 2000 people, and one of the most important fossil sites in the world. From the 55 million-year-old clays there, palaeontologists have unearthed a range of precious fossils over several decades. These include the world’s oldest fossil songbirds, the only known fossils of salamanders in Australia and the oldest fossil marsupial remains in Australia. And the site continues to serve up ancient treasures. A new study reported the discovery of the oldest crocodilian eggshells ever found in Australia. These eggshells now serve as the basis for a new eggshell type, Wakkaoolithus godthelpi. They belong to the oldest known member of a now extinct group of crocodiles known as mekosuchines; and they offer a new look into not just their evolution, but also the forest-lined wetlands they lived in. Mekosuchines were Australia’s own unique, local branch of the crocodile family. They dominated inland waters of the continent 55 million years ago. They were part of the group of species that includes alligators, true crocodiles, gharials and caiman. But they represent a much older branch than the saltwater and freshwater crocs found in Australia today. This story has been sourced from a third party syndicated feed, agencies. This new method uses ‘hyperaccumulator’ plants to draw metals out of the soil. REPRESENTATION PIC/GETTY IMAGES

China extracts rare earth minerals from living plant

A Chinese-led team of scientists has made a world-first discovery, identifying a naturally formed mineral containing rare earth elements (REEs) inside a living plant. The researchers found nanoscale monazite, a valuable mineral, crystallised within the tissues of an evergreen fern named Blechnum orientale. Monazite is a phosphate mineral rich in REEs such as cerium, lanthanum, and neodymium. These elements are critical for modern technology. The mineral itself is highly valued for its mechanical, physical, and thermal properties. It has a high melting point and offers resistance to corrosion and radiation damage, making it suitable for applications in coatings, lasers, light emitters, ionic conductors, and radioactive waste management. Typically, monazite forms geologically under high pressure and at temperatures of hundreds of degrees Fahrenheit. The scientists noted that this study demonstrates plants can facilitate its mineralisation under ambient, Earth-surface conditions. The researchers used a process called ‘phytomining’ — a green strategy that uses “hyperaccumulator” plants to extract metals from the ground.  These plants are capable of concentrating heavy metals in their tissues at levels hundreds to thousands of times higher than the surrounding soil. The strategy involves cultivating these plants on metal-rich soils and later recovering the target metals from the harvested biomass. New pterosaur species discovered inside fossilised ‘puke’ of ancient predator

Paleontologists have identified a new species of flying reptile, named Bakiribu waridza. The most compelling detail of the discovery is the origin of the fossil: it was found in a regurgitalite, or fossilized puke, left by an unknown predator. Surprisingly, the trace fossil preserved the remains of an entirely new pterosaur species that was consumed and then regurgitated indigestibly. The fossilised specimen. PIC COURTESY/Scientific Reports  The presence of the pterosaur remains within this regurgitalite provides rare direct evidence of a predator-prey interaction in the Cretaceous ecosystem. Pterosaurs were an extinct group of flying reptiles that soared through the skies for the majority of the Mesozoic Era (about 228 to 66 million years ago). They were a diverse clade, distinct from dinosaurs, that varied widely in size and lifestyle. Bakiribu waridza name means “comb mouth” in the language of the Indigenous Kariri people of the area.
