The equities trader added: "I have worked hard my entire career but now I want to slow down the pace of my life a little.

Recession be damned, London-based Bollywood investor The Indian Film Company is doing well, thank you.

According to financial results announced this week, the company's results were boosted by a string of box office hits.

Eight films backed by them, including Singh is Kinng, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif (born to a British woman and her estranged Kashmiri husband) and Ghajini were released in the year to the end of March.
