Sometimes the Internet reminds us that humanity isn’t dead in the world. In a heartwarming video, a man is seen giving CPR and saving the life of a dog who had collapsed outside a park in Los Angeles, California.

The man, named Jay, had shared the video on his Instagram account, Best Fetch Dog Dad.

In the 46-second clip, recorded by a passer-by, Jay can be seen pressing on the chest of a 9-year-old boxer named Stone, who lay still on a sidewalk. The pooch wasn’t breathing and Jay tried his best to resuscitate it. He even performed CPR on the boxer. After some time of trying, the dog finally wriggled a bit and started breathing.

“Come on Stone, you got it baby,” Jay said as the dog regained consciousness.

“This man was out for a walk when he noticed a dog had collapsed on the sidewalk. He ran up, performed CPR, and saved the dog's life. #Humanity,” reads the caption of the post.
