US woman gives birth to own twin granddaughters

A grandma, from Iowa, acted as a gestational carrier for her daughter and gave birth to her own twin granddaughters, Hallee and Hadlee

Susie Kozisek’s daughter Ashley Larkin has pulmonary hypertension and cannot get pregnant, according to news reports.

The mum-of-four, ages 20 to 30, was also the gestational carrier for Larkin’s older daughter, Harper, in June 2011.

Kozisek, 53, said that she had heard about the procedure on a talk show and decided to check out the possibility of her doing this for her daughter and her partner, so they could have kids of their own.

Larkin said that she considers her children a blessing and a miracle.
