On October 22, an under-construction building in Bengaluru`s Horamavu Agara area collapsed, leading to a tragic incident with five reported deaths. Rescue operations are currently ongoing, involving teams from the NDRF and SDRF, along with dog squads at the site. One man has been successfully rescued from the debris. In addition to the fatalities, five individuals sustained injuries; four are being treated at North Hospital, while one is at Hosmat Hospital. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has promised stringent action against the building`s owner, citing allegations of illegal activities.
