Prime Minister Modi is set to engage with world leaders at the G7 Summit in Kananaskis, Canada, at the invitation of Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney
Meanwhile the key objective of this tour is to enhance global understanding and cooperation in tackling cross-border terrorism
In the meantime PM Modi is also scheduled to visit Cyprus from 15-16 June, following an invitation from President Nikos Christodoulides
However this visit to Cyprus aims to strengthen historical ties and expand cooperation in areas such as trade and security for both nations
After the G7 Summit, Prime Minister Modi will visit Croatia to meet its leaders, President Zoran Milanovic and Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic. This will be the first time an Indian PM will be visiting to Croatia. However the main aim of the visit is to open new avenues for cooperation between the two nations
