Actress and member of Lok Sabha Hema Malini has retorted to Maharashtra minister Gulabrao Patil’s distasteful remark where he compared her cheeks to the roads of his constituency Jalgaon.

She said, comments like these are not in good taste but this trend was started years ago and many have followed it since.
Shiv Sena leader Gulabrao Patil, on Sunday compared actress and member of Lok Sabha Hema Malini’s cheeks to the roads of his constituency while addressing an election meeting for the Bodhwad Nagar Panchayat polls in the district.
"Those who have been MLAs for 30 years should come to my constituency and see the roads. If they are not like Hema Malini's cheeks, then I will resign," the water supply and sanitation minister said reportedly targeting BJP leader Eknath Khadse who was an MLA from Jalgaon for several years.
