In a hit-and-run case in Noida's Sector 24, which resulted in a man's death on Monday, two suspects were detained by police on Tuesday, according to the police. The car involved in the incident has also been recovered by the police, and an investigation is still ongoing. Janak Dev was recognised as the dead. The incident happened on Sunday in the Gautam Buddh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh's Noida Sector 24. The accused left the scene after striking the dead.

Pradeep, the victim's son, had earlier reported the event to Manish Kumar Mishra, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Noida. "A man named Pradeep from Sector 24 informed the police that his father was hit by a car and he died in the accident," Mishra stated. Mishra went on to say that the police were looking into the situation. "A complaint was made, and an inquiry has been started. A post-mortem report has been requested for the body, according to Mishra.

He added that two police units are now attempting to identify the car involved in the collision by obtaining CCTV footage from the surrounding area. When the vehicle and the person accountable for the irresponsible driving were located, Mishra promised that prompt action would be taken.
