"Mohan Bhagwat will embark on a four-day Tripura visit on May 24," reads a press release from the RSS. His stay will run through May 27. The Sarsanghchalak is travelling to Agartala to participate in the special training camp being held for the Northeast area."
"This visit will be solely from the perspective of the ongoing training camp being hosted in Tripura. Sarsanghchalak Ji will speak to students on various topics during his stay in Seva Dham," read the press communique from the organisation, which is considered the ideological fountainhead of the BJP.
The press statement added that the RSS has a special 5-tier training programme. It starts with a 3-day introductory course, followed by a 15-day Sangh Shiksha Varg (training camp), a 20-day Karyakarta Vikas Varg, and a 25-day Karyakarta Vikas Varg.
A field leader development training curriculum is called Karyakarta Vikas Varg. This year, on May 18 at Agartala Sevadham, the Karyakarta Vikas Varg for the Assam region—which includes Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, and Assam—began.
A total of 152 students, 30 teachers, and 40 administrators are participating in the special training session.
Participating in the entire process are students from Manipur, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, and Tripura. There will be 14 Karyakarta Vikas Varg locations nationwide, and the RSS chief will be present at each one to mentor the kids. It is anticipated that the RSS Sarsanghchalak will also meet with some high-ranking members of the BJP and the organisation. Along with him would be Chief Minister Manik Saha, members of his cabinet, and other prominent figures from the ruling party. The statement claims that the visit by the chief of the RSS to the Northeast state is highly significant, especially considering that it occurred right after the Lok Sabha elections.
