Shehnaaz Gill’s father Santok Singh Sukh, was shot at by two unidentified armed men late on Saturday (December 25) evening in Amristar. 

Santok Singh Sukh had recently joined the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP).


The incident occurred on Saturday at around 8:30 pm, when two men who were on a bike fired at Sukh while he was heading back from an event in Amritsar, reports claimed. Four gunshots were fired at him. However, the two men ran away and couldn’t be captured. Sukh escaped unhurt in the firing.



After the incident, Sukh immediately informed the local police. A case has been registered at Jandiala Guru police station.

The Station House Officer at Jandiala Guru police station said that the police recovered four empty shells from the spot, Amarujala reported.
