Suspended JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, who was arrested at Bengaluru Airport in connection with an obscene video case, is set to have a medical checkup shortly before being brought in court.

Revanna was transported to the CID office in Bengaluru after arriving at Kempegowda International Airport. He is expected to face a Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigation into claims of sexual harassment and criminal intimidation following a complaint from a lady who worked in his household, reported ANI.
Revanna was arrested upon his return to India from Berlin, Germany, after nearly a month abroad with a diplomatic passport. The Karnataka government's SIT apprehended him and seized two of his check-in luggage, which were hauled away in a separate car. Security has been strengthened outside of the CID office in anticipation of his arrival, the report stated.
Revanna announced in a self-made video broadcast on May 27 that he would appear in front of the SIT for questioning on May 31. He maintained that his travel was pre-planned and that no charges were filed against him when Karnataka voted in the general elections on April 26. He claimed that the charges against him were part of a political conspiracy because of his developing political power.
Per the ANI report, Revanna's anticipatory bail application, filed on May 29, remains pending in court. The plea was made barely hours after the SIT apprehended two main suspects in the case, Naveen Gowda and Chetan. According to police reports, these people were apprehended while seeking anticipatory bail at the High Court. They're accused of distributing pen drives with videos of Revanna allegedly assaulting women.
Meanwhile, Randhir Jaiswal, spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), revealed that a show-cause notice was sent to Revanna on May 23, commencing steps to cancel his diplomatic passport under the Passport Act 1967. The warning gave Revanna ten working days to react.
"MEA has initiated action under provisions in the Passport Act 1967 for revocation of the diplomatic passport of Prajwal Revanna. A show cause notice was issued to the passport holder on May 23, giving him 10 working days to respond to our notice. We are waiting for his response and accordingly, we will take things forward once we hear from him or once the 10-day period expires," Jaiswal stated.
