The doctors in Delhi who were protesting over the delay in NEET-PG counselling and alleged assault on doctors by the police, called off their strike on Friday.

The protest was called-off after a meeting between members of the Federation of Resident Doctors' Association (FORDA) and Joint CP of Delhi. The doctors resumed work after 12 pm today.

“We had a meeting with Joint CP last night. Withdrawal of FIR process started (in connection with ITO protest). After 12 pm today we'll call off our strike against the delay in NEET 2021 counselling," Dr Manish, president of FORDA said.

“Patients are already suffering, many surgeries deferred. Considering this situation they are calling off the strike at 12pm today,” he added.
