The Western Railway said, for the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, the WR has decided to run festival special trains on special fare between Bandra Terminus - Bhavnagar Terminus, Surat – Karmali and Sabarmati - Okha stations

The Western Railway (WR) will start special trains on special fares for passengers due to rising demands, the WR said in a statement on Saturday. 


The WR said, for the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, the WR has decided to run festival special trains on special fare between Bandra Terminus - Bhavnagar Terminus, Surat – Karmali and Sabarmati - Okha stations.


According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, details of these special trains are-


- Train No. 09207/09208 Bandra Terminus – Bhavnagar Terminus Special

Train No. 09207 Bandra Terminus – Bhavnagar Special will depart from Bandra Terminus on Friday, 3rd March, 2023 at 09.00 hrs and reach Bhavnagar Terminus at 23.45 hrs, the same day. Similarly, Train No. 09208 Bhavnagar Terminus – Bandra Terminus Special will depart from Bhavnagar on Thursday, 2nd March, 2023 at 14.50 hrs and arrive Bandra Terminus at 06.00 hrs, the next day.

This train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara Jn, Nadiad Jn, Ahmedabad, Surendranagar Gate, Botad, Dhola Jn, Songadh and Bhavnagar Para stations in both directions. This train comprises AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.

- Train No. 09193/09194 Surat – Karmali Special

Train No. 09193 Surat – Karmali Superfast Special will depart from Surat on Tuesday, 7th March, 2023 at 19.50 hrs & will reach Karmali at 10.25 hrs, the next day. Similarly, Train No. 09194 Karmali - Surat Special will depart from Karmali on Wednesday, 8th March, 2023 at 16.20 hrs and will reach Surat at 08.00 hrs, the next day.

This train will halt at Valsad, Vapi, Palghar, Vasai Road, Bhiwandi Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavli, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road and Thivim stations in both directions. This train comprises AC Chair Car, Sleeper Class, Second Class Seating and General Second Class Coaches.

- Train No. 09453 /09454 Sabarmati – Okha Superfast Special

Train No. 09453 Sabarmati – Okha Superfast Special will depart from Sabarmati on Thursday, 16th February, 2023 at 23.35 hrs & will reach Okha at 08.25 hrs, the next day. Similarly, Train No. 09454 Okha - Sabarmati Superfast Special will depart from Okha on Friday, 17th February, 2023 at 23.45 hrs & will reach Sabarmati at 08.35 hrs, the next day.

This train will halt at Chandlodiya, Viramgam Junction, Surendranagar, Than Junction, Wankaner Junction, Rajkot, Hapa, Jamnagar, Khambhaliya and Dwarka stations in both directions. This train comprises AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.

"The booking of Train No. 09207, 09208, 09193 will open from February 14, 2023 while Train No. 09453 and 09454 will open from February 12, 2023 at PRS counters and IRCTC website. The above trains will run as special trains on special fares. For detailed information regarding timings of halts and composition, passengers may please visit www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in," the WR said in a statement.
