As October comes to an end this week, celestial enthusiasts are in for a treat with the second eclipse of the month. This month, a partial lunar eclipse will be seen on Friday, October 28.

Lunar eclipses occur when the Earth positions itself between the sun and the moon. It usually occurs during a full moon, but there isn't an eclipse during every full moon.

According to Space.com, the last lunar eclipse of the year will begin at 2:01 p.m. EDT (1801 GMT) on October 28, 2023.

Space.com further mentions that the celestial event will be visible from all corners of India, especially around midnight.

The eclipse is expected to last for one hour and 19 minutes.

The partial lunar eclipse will not be confined to just one region. The portions of the partial lunar eclipse are expected to be observable from various parts of the world, spanning Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, North America, North/East South America, the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Arctic, and even Antarctica. It's a celestial event that promises to captivate observers across the globe.

Celestial enthusiasts who are eager for a close-up view of the moon during the partial lunar eclipse can view the eclipse from any region/part of the world.
