The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has prepared a list of as five Bollywood actresses for their alleged links with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

These five allegedly received either gifts or were in direct or indirect contact with the conman as per a report in India Today.

Apart from these five actresses, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi are already under the ED scanner. The ED will summon these five actresses soon. As of now, they will be treated as witnesses in the case.

The probe agency will investigate if these actresses were aware of Chandrashekhar’s real identity and will inquire as to why they received the gifts.

Meanwhile, the ED is expected to attach the gifts given to Fernandez and Fatehi by the conman, stated the India Today report.

ED officials will soon initiate the process of attaching the gifts - luxury cars, diamonds and bags, in possession of Fernandez and Fatehi, in order to recover the proceeds of crime.

It is suspected that gifts worth over Rs 10 crore were given to Fernandez while Fatehi received a BMW car. These gifts were allegedly bought using extorted money, making them proceeds of crime.

Chandrashekhar is accused of extorting Rs 200 crore from a businessman’s wife between June 2020 and May 2021.
