The Kishtwar region of Jammu and Kashmir witnessed an earthquake of magnitude 3.2 on the Richter scale on Friday night, according to data by the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).

According to the NCS, the earthquake occurred at 11:06 pm.
The epicentre of the earthquake was located at Latitude 33.35 and Longitude 76.70, at a depth of 10 kilometres, the NCS stated.
"Earthquake of Magnitude:3.2, Occurred on 26-04-2024, 23:06:42 IST, Lat: 33.35 & Long: 76.70, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir," the NCS said in a post shared on X.
