Four teams of Lokayukta officials conducted simultaneous raids at the offices of Dhawalagiri properties and Sahyadri healthcare and diagnostic ltd situated in Nehru Nagar, Tilak Nagar, Vijay Nagar and Sheshadripuram, respectively, and have confiscated several documents.

JD(S) leader Y S V Dutta who filed a complaint with Lokayukta alleged that there was a large scale misappropriation in warding contract for Uppar Bhadra power project.
Dutta alleged that Yeddyurappa and his kin received a sum of Rs 13 crore kickback from Murudeshwar Power Corporation limited in return of awarding contract.
Dutta in his complaint had submitted a set of documents to support his claim where Rs 11 crore was paid to Dhawalaguiri and another Rs 2 crore was paid to Sahyadri as 10 per cent tou00a0 get Rs 132 crore project sanctioned.
While Sohan Kumar, Yeddyurappa's son-in-law and his sons Vijendra and Raghavendra are directors of Dhawalagiri properties, Sahyadri is owned by Raghvendra Vijendra and MLA Hemachandra Sagar.
"We are verifying the documents to corroborate the charges made against the accused," said J V Goankar, Additional Director General of Police.
