The NFDC will soon conduct a screenwriters' workshop that will help writers finish their script and teach them to market it

In what will be of major interest to all scriptwriter aspirants and also established scriptwriters, the National Film Development Corporation Ltd (NFDC) and Binger FilmLab is conducting a screenwriters' workshop.

The two-part workshop is called Film Bazaar Screenwriters' Lab 2011 and will be held in September and November. It is designed to help writers with Indian stories prepare to work with the international marketplace.

Apart from helping them complete a screenplay, the workshop will also try to increase the saleability of the script.

The first session will be held during the Venice International Film Festival in September 2011 where participants will learn about the workings of the international film community. The next session will take place in Goa from November 24 to 27. Last date for submitting applications are June 10, 2011.
