A woman from Uttar Pradesh delivered a stillborn baby on the roadside near the Press Club Chowk in Jalandhar district of Punjab.

The woman’s husband, who is an auto-rickshaw driver by profession, alleged that his phone calls for an ambulance went unattended before they left home for hospital.

Later, some women and passersby covered her with dupattas and helped her in delivering the child on the roadside.
