Vertigo almost ruined Sonu Nigam's shoot, but a city-based cameraman came to the singer's rescue.

Sonu Nigam's crew was shooting for his maiden Kannada album Neene Bare Neene on the BMIC.

The artiste was to drive in a car while a cameraman shot him from an airborne chopper.

"However the team couldn't complete the shot," said a source at the venue.

"The cameraman who was supposed to shoot became giddy as soon as the chopper took off."

Sri, a film editor and aerial cameraman, was called in to complete the shot.

He shot the sequence at the BMIC stretch towards Mysore that is under construction.

"Sri had to complete the shoot on the same day, and he finished it in half an hour" said our source.

And what did the hero of the day have to say about the event?

"It was just like any other shoot except the fact that Sonu Nigam was driving the car," Sri said.u00a0u00a0
