What its about: Mike Chadway teaches Abby Richter how to look sexy and woo the perfect man who she first meets when she's upside down hanging from a tree, just as he drops the only piece of cloth on him - a towel. Abby is the producer of a television show, the Ugly Truth. Mike is hired as an anchor, is roped in by the management to raise the TRPs, because they think he gives them what sells. Abby thinks Mike sucks at his job, while the whole world thinks otherwise.
Mike reveals many ugly facts about life, sex and relationships. Abby is not happy with Mike's cynicism. Mike takes it as a challenge to change Abby's views on men and helps her woo the man she loves. But things take a new turn, when Abby changes her personality and stops being a control freak.
Watch the movie to find out whom Abby finally decides to spend the rest of her life.

What' hot: Gerard Butler is the showstopper! The movie brings back to light the subtle love sentiments of movies like When Harry Met Sally. Your man will love to watch the movie too.

What's not: A few dumb interludes in some places, which are completely unnecessary.

Verdict: The movie talks about facts and brings out many true 'not so happy' realities to light. It is quite funny too.
