In a rather weird incident, an auto driver scammed Mumbai based TV actress Megha Chakraborty with a fake Rs 100 note note from the 'Children Bank of India'.

The incident happened on Sunday at around 1 am wherein the actress was fooled with a Rs 100 'Monopoly' note that she unknowingly accepted from an auto-rickshaw driver. Chakraborty, who originally hails from Kolkata, was travelling in Mumbai.

Angered by the incident, the actress took to Facebook to post her 'fake note'.

The note which is from 'Children Bank of India', has been signed by Santa Claus instead of the RBI Governor. It had 'one hundred coupon' instead of 'one hundred rupees' plastered on it. Like the real note, it also bears a promise. " I promise to play with the coupon hundred," it says.

A lot of such fake notes of various denominations were also spotted on the Bandra East skywalk.

Needless to say, the picture went gone viral with more than 11k likes and over 1900 shares on Facebook.
