Move over James Bond chasing a member of a terror syndicate across Madagascar and then foiling a plan to bomb Boeing 747 in the Bahamas. The real story is here.

Sayeed received the money for his passport through Western Union Money Transfer from Pakistan. But, Sayeed also sent a copy of his Indian passport to a yet to be revealed address in Italy. Highly placed sources in Delhi Police special cell confirmed that the alleged ISI agent actually sent a copy of his passport to Italy, which according to him was necessary to verify whether the money received by him was used for the right purpose.

However, the Delhi Police now believes it might be just the tip of the iceberg.

Sources said further leads into the case may help India expose ISI's links in European countries.

Further elaborating on the leads from the interrogation of Sayeed, special cell officials told MiD DAY that the spy got his passport through post from the local post office in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.

"We are talking to the courier company and our counterparts in Lucknow to get the address. We will submit a report about the person in Italy who has been financing the spy in India," the sources added.

Sources further said the person could be a financier who was staying in Italy and funding terror activities in India. "We are investigating the case. More arrests may follow. If Khalil, who helped Sayeed in Lucknow, could be arrested, he will give us a lot of information on other spies in India." They confirmed Sayeed received Rs 28,000 in two installments from his friend "Lakhir" and another accomplice in Pakistan.
