SP adds fuel to fire, starts conspiracy theory

“It is possible that some people of the Congress want to replace Manmohan Singh with Yuvraj (Rahul Gandhi). Is internal politics of the Congress not coming into play,” said Mohan Singh, an SP member of the Rajya Sabha.u00a0

He said it is a matter of concern that the BJP wanted to destroy rules of parliamentary conduct. He said the Comptroller and Auditor General’s report was ‘interim’ as it had not been examined by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC).

Criticising the BJP over its demand that prime minister should resign over the CAG report on coal block allocation, he said Manmohan Singh cannot be expected to resign ‘to oblige the opposition’.u00a0
