It's time to stroke your animal instincts at the India International Pet Trade Fair (IIPTF), where everything related to four-limbed family members will be put on show and sale. And of course, you can pick up the most adorable little pet, too.

The three-day fair will put up products like anti-skid stainless steel bowls for dogs, ultrasonic dog chasers, dinner bowls, leather saddles, shampoos, protein supplements, calcium and multi-vitamin tonic, apart from mineral mixtures, eatables like dried pet snacks, leather dog chews, pressed bones, knotted bones, frozen meat and processed meat. Winged lovers can go in for breeder cages, cooling pads, parrot stands and ventilation equipments, among others. For those who love to flaunt their pets in designer apparel, there are fashion bags, portable pet carriers and designer beds. Who said theirs is a dog's life?!

Besides the products, there will be seminars, workshops and lecture demonstrations on pet care, grooming and training, so it's a good idea to get your kid over. Dog shows, contests and pet entertainment will add to the fun quotient. Pet enthusiasts can also interact with premium breeders and Kennel Clubs.
The event will give pet traders a chance to mingle with a broad range of manufacturers, customers and vet consultants. The free-for-allu00a0 affair will also mark the entry of several international players. "We have invited distributors and retailers from all across the world, which will give them an opportunity to expand their business," says Ambuj Thapa, fair co-ordinator.
