The national general-secretary of the right-wing group Sri Ram Sena, Binay Kumar Singh, while condemning the attacks on girls in Mangalore pubs, on Monday said that he has roped in around 5,000 youngsters under a new umbrella Youth Unity for Vibrant Action (YUVA) to launch an eviction drive against illegal Bangladeshi migrants.

"Illegal Bangladeshis have become a threat to India. We have collected reports from government agencies where we found that they are involved in anti-national activities. And as the government has failed to curb this, we have taken it in our hand," Singh said.

"Bangladeshis have also destroyed our lower-class employment like maids, cobblers, rickshaw pullers etc," he said.

When said that it is for the government to check the menace, Singh replied, "People act when governments fail, so we are left with no option," adding, "A society looses its original shape and identity when government fails to protect bread, border and culture."

u00a0YUVA is presently surveying New Delhi and Nation Capital Region to launch its movement.

About Mangalore violence, Singh condemned his group's act but was against pub culture. "There isn't anything called pub culture. Those who go to pubs have no idea what real India is? I invite all the pub visitors for a day-visit to any village they want to in India. They will soon realise the real condition of the country where people starve to death."

When asked why doesn't he protest peacefully as others do to reach out to those who matter, Singh mocked at the almost daily protests at Jantar Mantar saying: "Such cosmetic protests would never bring any change."
