Investigations reveal accused used luxury SUV to plant bombs in '08 serial blasts; police try to trace vehicle so they can use it as evidence

Investigations have revealed that T Nasir, who was allegedly involved in the 2008 Bangalore bomb blasts, used a luxury sports utility vehicle (SUV) to plant the bombs.

The policeu00a0 are tracking the 10-seater luxury car, which they claim Nasir and his associates drove to the city from Kerala, as they hope to use it as evidence against Nasir.

The police team, which took Nasir to Kannur in Kerala for further investigation, has questioned Haris, the owner of Prime Travels in Kannur district.

Yasin, along with three of his associates, was killed in an encounter with security forces at Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir this September while they were allegedly trying to cross the border.

'Car already sold'

However, Haris reportedly told the police that he had already sold the car and it most likely has changed two to three hands by now.
