In an incident that is likely to embarrass the police force in the National Capital Region, a 23-year-old Manipur woman has claimed that the cops at Gurgaon police station harassed her while she was trying to file a complaint of molestation.

The Gurgaon police have confirmed the unnamed woman was being allegedly molested at her home.

They have registered an FIR after the unnamed victim contacted them. They said the victim had told them that she had forgotten to lock the door after entering her home.
The victim called the police after the incident but by the time the law enforcement authorities arrived, the culprit had run away.
The victim, who works in a Gurgaon shopping mall, has claimed that the polceman present raised doubts about her character andu00a0alleged that the police unnecessarily questioned her about why she was staying with her cousin brothers.u00a0
