The results are likely to be announced at a small unveiling ceremony at the Board headquarters in Hyderabad. The Telangana SSC (Secondary School Certificate) Exam was held in the month of March – April 2016. The coveted board exam began on 21 March 2016 with a language paper and concluded on 09 April 2016 with the SSC Vocational Course (Theory) paper. The year 2015 was the first time that the BSE Telangana had declared the TS SSC Result separately after the separation Telangana state from Andhra Pradesh. In the first year, nearly 5.9 lakh candidates had appeared for the board exam of which 77.56% managed to clear it quite easily. The pass percentage in last year’s TS SSC Exam saw a sharp decline from 85% for the 10 Telangana districts in the united Andhra Pradesh in 2014. However, the decline was attributed to the new examination and evaluation system introduced by the BSE Telangana in 2015.
