While some are busy, some don't even know about the event.u00a0 "I'm not at the Aero India this time," said actor-director Ramesh Aravind.
"With my movie due for release, I have a hectic schedule all week," he said.
It's the same story for most stars. With the industry shutting down from February 17 to March 3 due to its platinum jubilee celebrations, many stars like Ganesh, Upendra and Vijay are strapped for time and will stay away.
Stars aim high
Abhinav Bindra will reportedly fly in a Lockheed Martin jet. Ratan Tata became the oldest Indian to fly the Lockheed jet in 2007 at Aero India in Bangalore.
"Bindra will be a co-pilot in the Falcon," said an organiser. "With this, he will fly one of the fastest fighter jets in the world."
Actress Priyanka Chopra is also expected to fly similar supersonic jets. Boeing is said to be flying two other celebrities in its super hornets, said a source.
'What? Where?'
Some Sandalwood stars had no idea what was going on in the skies. Here's what some of them said:
